Trad. Irish Aran Sweater
The traditional Aran (in Gaelic: Geansai) is originally from the Aran Islands off the west coast
of Ireland. For more than about hundred years the women have been knitting woolen sweaters for their men at sea. They always designed new and trimmed patterns. There are a lot of stories and myths about the Aran Sweaters.
But one thing is certain, once you have put on your Aran Sweater, it quickly becomes the favorite piece in your wardrobe.
