Barr an Uisce Wicklow Rare, Blended Whiskey, Vol.: 43%
This Whiskey is destilled, matured and bottled in Ireland for the Wicklow Hills Cmpany. This Signature Blend is made out of 80% Grain Whiskey and 20% Single Malt Whiskey.
Der Whiskey was filled in with 43% and was not cold filtered, to keep the full aroma.
The Grain Whiskey matured for 4 years in First Fill Bourbon Barrels and then for further 6 Month in a Oloroso Sherry Cask. The Single Malt was allowed to mature for 10 years
in First Fill Bourbon Barrels, befor both Whiskeys were combined.
- Aromas: bisquit, vanilla and roasted Wood, notes of apple + pear, Citrus
- Taste: Sherrysweet, Vanilla, notes of wood, candied Citrus
- Resonance: medium term
